Hourly Salary:
$17 - $20 per hour

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm., occasional overtime and weekend work may be required depending on operational needs.

Canadian Fishing Company (Canfisco), a Division of Jim Pattison Enterprises Ltd, is a fully integrated seafood processing company with headquarters in Vancouver, BC.

Canfisco operates the largest fleet of commercial fishing vessels in British Columbia, harvests over 110 million pounds of fish annually and exports its seafood products to 38 countries around the world.

Our Richmond facility is looking for reliable, energetic and hardworking individuals for its Vessel Unloading operations and Labelling Warehouse

Depending on which operation is running, you could be working either in the warehouse or assisting with vessel unloading, both operations could also be running simultaneously.

Warehouse job positions include packing, stacking, sleeving operating machinery and other warehouse equipment.

Vessel unloading involves offloading fish from large fishing vessels/trawlers on the water and requires people in multiple roles such as pump operator, nozzlemen, fish graders, forklift operators and tally.

Training for all jobs/positions will be provided. You must be willing and able to work in both operations as needed.

Position Requirements:

Physically fit; able to push, pull, reach, climb and bend.

Reliable, punctual and has own transportation.

Ability to work indoors and outdoors and adapt to warmer or cooler working environments.

Must be able to handle the smell of fish.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand for the entire shift.

Ability to work overtime and on weekends if required.

Commercial fishing, seafood processing or warehouse experience is an asset.

Good mechanical aptitude is a plus.

Good verbal English skills are required.

Salary:
$17.00-$20.00 per hour
