Description

Reporting to the General Manager, the E-Com Channel Manager is responsible for developing strategies, coordinate, communicate and assist in the growth of the e-commerce sales in Canada for American Bath Group Brands.


Primary responsibilities

Marketing Tools

  • Identifies necessary marketing tools & digital content to succeed in the ecommerce world, including online literature, product images, product packaging, advertising.
  • Takes necessary actions to either source or internally develop the necessary tools.
  • Communicates the available tools to the Sales force.
  • Identifies E-Com product packaging needs.
  • Helps develop the annual sales and promotional budgets.
  • Participate in the elaboration of the Channel strategy.

New Product Development

  • Be the voice of the Ecom team internally for any new product need and request.
  • Prepares the commercial plan for any new product aimed at the E-Com Retail Channel
  • Identification new technologies / approaches for enhanced communications
  • Launch offers / promotions
  • Sales / communications training tools
  • Sales presentation package
  • Identifies market potential and forecast in conjunction with the Sales and Product development teams.
  • Liaises with Product development for all product changes and documents all changes to the Sales force.
  • Communicates forecasts by customer to Project P&L and Master planning groups.

Sales Development

  • Actively participates in any line reviews.
  • Market data analysis & sales trends identification
  • Participation in customer pitches
  • Prepares and monitors various initiatives to achieve growth goals including setting required budget and tracking results.
  • Includes communications to the Sales force & Sales reps and liaison with other departments (Finance, Customer Care, Operations, etc.)
  • Manages and implements online marketing strategy for retail customers.
  • Online sales asset management / requirements
  • Maintains online website accurate.

Price management and Program optimization

  • Manages retail stock (brick mortar) and.
COM competitive price files for all key retail customers.

  • Manages product, program, retail changes with all key competitors.
  • Review market dynamics on pricing.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Project management
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in E-Commerce Sales Management
  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience managing key account would be a key asset
