We are seeking top-tier talent to join our our Project Management Team in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia.

Reporting to the Technical Rail Director, the Senior Project Manager will be accountable for providing project management and direction for rail, transit, and integrated systems projects.

The Senior Project Manager is involved in project planning and start-up, project financials, project pre-construction, bid management, design management, systems procurement, and project execution including installation management, and testing / commissioning.

The incumbent will maintain a relentless focus on meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations.


As a Senior Project Manager at Graham, you will:

  • Provide technical and estimating support to large-scale Systems Project Tenders and RFPs.
  • Develop procurement documents and manage the procurement process.
  • Schedule development for all phases of Transit Systems delivery.
  • Establish and manage project operations team and coordinate technical staff.
  • Manage subcontractors in the supply, installation, and T&C of Rail Systems.
  • Lead meetings to coordinate technical, commercial, and administrative tasks.
  • Review contract documents to obtain a clear understanding of deliverables, which will ensure project work will be completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage the review and communicate objectives for critical milestones, budget, schedule, and client satisfaction measurements to project team members.
  • Recognize and leverage Graham's techniques and processes for tracking progress.
  • Monitor the change management and configuration management processes, including identifying change events, submitting change notices, pricing, and tracking change work, and negotiating change orders with clients.
  • Liaise with clients and their consulting teams.
  • Build effective relationships with customers, design teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support Graham core values.

Qualifications / Education:


  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science or related education.
  • Minimum of 10 years of directly related construction experience in rail, transit or industrial integrated systems is required.
  • Sound technical knowledge of SCADA, telecoms systems, medium
- and low-voltage power distribution systems, and signalling and train control systems.

  • PEng or PMP Designation is an asset.
  • Proven leadership and client management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
