Who we're looking for

Viacore Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec is looking for is looking for a dynamic self-starter to join our Inside Sales team. We're looking for someone with a good understanding of our business, who is computer literate and have knowledge of, or willing to learn, our internal ERP system and invoicing process.

What you'll be doing:

• Take orders via telephone, fax, e-mail and walk-in customers; maintain excellent customer relations
• Communicate with customers and other branch employees to ensure order accuracy and smooth operations.
• Invoicing - ensure all proper paperwork is completed, inventory adjustments are complete, costing and pricing is accurate
• Produce work orders and slitting permits for jobs, coordinate slitting jobs with Slitter, Shipper / Receiver or Shop Foreman / Service Manager
• Assist Outside Sales with quotations and sourcing products

What you'll need to succeed:

• strong working knowledge of computers - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
• Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to high standards of work
• Basic mechanical aptitude required
• Fluent in English and French

Qualifications requises

Connaissances/éducation et expérience :

• Aptitude mécanique de base requise
