Overview:

Transdev Canada is actively seeking a
Project Compliance Manager to oversee, manage, and to be accountable for all contractual deliverables to the service provider team of the Hurontario LRT Project for a Light Rail Operation we are pursuing in the Greater Toronto Area. Responsibilities:


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Develop and administer the organization's compliance program
  • Design and implement process improvement plans consistent with the direction of corporate goals and initiatives based on contractual agreement
  • Establish clear roles, directions, responsibilities, and performance requirements for project compliance through monitoring project deliverables
  • Oversee compliance audits, risk assessments and implement change suggestions necessary changes to enforce project compliance
  • Ensure a competent level of knowledge of the Hurontario interface agreement/PSOS and Project Agreement
  • Support the Project Team during the work periods by identifying and communicating gap analysis issues related to the Design and Build stages
  • Support the Rail Director for all OM&R related matters and issues with the Construction Partners (DBJV) or Project Co
  • Collaborate with the consortium partners to update the Operations and Maintenance User Requirements (OMUR), and Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA) matrix for the OM & R Team as required on the Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) Integration System
  • Ensure that O&M processes, principles, and procedures are delivered as outlined in the Interface Agreement
  • Acquire knowledge of the Procore document system in order to support Interface Control Design Document (ICDD) and Transdev Communication Review/Report (TCRR)
  • Liaise with the legal counsel on legal contractual documents for the project to ensure conformity with guidelines and agreements

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:


  • Minimum of 5 years management experience within quality, compliance, or claims
  • Extensive knowledge of operations and maintenance standards, procedures and practices in a rail environment
  • Must be familiar with Ontario Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented and able to manage multiple assignments effectively

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • 3 to 4 years of relevant experience (e.g. Trainer) in a rail transit project of a similar scope
  • Proven knowledge and experience of working in a complex safetycritical environment within the rail industry
  • Excellent timemanagement, planning, conceptual and consultative skills
  • Good working knowledge of the design and development of compliance management processes
  • Good level of understanding and experience in Private Public Partnership (PPP) environment
  • Assist with supporting, generating and executing Key Performance Indicators within your area of responsibility
  • Ability to generate power BI reports reporting on project compliance
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Ability to rapidly acquire comprehensive knowledge and understanding of courses defined by Management in order to achieve corporate objectives as they pertain to employees and customers and contractual obligations
  • Will have the ability to identify and solve problems in a structured and analytical way and in a timely manner
  • A highly selfmotivated team player, with sound organizational skills
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
