Our client is a forward-moving industrial manufacturer in search of a Junior Financial Controller to become a part of its accounting team.

In this capacity, you will be accountable for an array of accounting and financial duties that contribute to the smooth and precise functioning of the Accounting Department.

• Handling monthly government remittances
• Managing annual corporate tax processes
• Oversight of bank account management
• Compilation of payment files and facilitation of ACH or wire payments
• Posting of payments to vendor accounts
• Reconciliation of bank accounts
• Preparation of monthend closures and provision of corresponding monthly reports
• Compilation of yearend reports for accountants
• Execution of yearend adjustment journal entries
• Calculation of monthly inventory and depreciation
• Yearly reconciliation of government filings
• Creation and enhancement of profit and loss statements
• Devising strategies to streamline processes

• Proficiency in comprehending Income Statements
• Proficient in budget analysis
• Understanding of cash flow cycles
• Strong command of the English language in both written and verbal communication
• Bilingual abilities in Spanish or French are advantageous
