Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards.
• Assist in the hiring, training, and supervision of restaurant staff.
• Create and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve profitability.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to develop and update menu offerings.
• Coordinate with vendors for the procurement of ingredients and supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.

Requirements:

• Must be fluent in Mandarin and English, if you can speak Catonese that would be a bonus.
• Previous experience as a restaurant manager or assistant manager is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
• Knowledge of bartending, hotel, catering, coffee, food production, and banquet operations is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the food service industry.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Salary:
$20.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Thornhill, ON L3T 7Y3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English and Mandarin (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Smart Serve, Foof handling certificate (preferred)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (preferred)
• Day Shift (preferred)
