Description
This position is a customer facing role to both English and French customers in Canada.

As such, it is required that this role be fluent in English and French, with the ability to speak, read, write and translate from English to French.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Management of Canadian Clubs & contractors accounts receivable:
  • Record bank deposits
  • Collections
  • Process direct delivery orders
  • Reviews status of accounts and initiates collection action by contacting customer, clubs, internal managers & collection agencies
  • Communicates with other departments to research outstanding balances and resolve customer issues or research customer inquiries
  • Provides training information & excellent customer service to both internal & external customers
  • Creates and maintains records concerning changes in accounts such as credit card information on file
  • Prepares & distributes weekly/monthly reports regarding receivables and advises on improvements for collection of outstanding balances
  • Works with internal & Club Managers to collect accounts at risk, and recommend methods to resolve any collection issues
  • Ensures communication & approval for any write offs
  • Provides inputs on accounts at risk so that the Allowance for Doubtful Accounts can be maintained
  • Performs A/R month end close, distributes customer statements, etc.

Additional Duties:


  • Project design to simplify work process as it relates to customer receivables and collecting
  • Assists with audit as required
  • Assist other finance teammates as requested

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:


  • 35 years Accounts Receivable or collections experience
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft office (Excel)
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience would be a plus

  • Strong customer service background
  • Professional phone etiquette experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Data Entry experience minimum of 40wpm
  • Organized

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to handle confidential material

  • Punctual and reliable

  • Ability to work independently and complete projects on time
  • Ability to determine and set priorities

Pay:
From $55,000.00 per year
