Terra was formed over 10 years ago by a group of exceptional and knowledgeable construction and operation managers that have over 25 years of experience.

We are currently looking to build upon our experienced, growth-orientated, and dedicated list of employees through our Lane
Closure Technician opportunity.

The Opportunity:


Terra's Lane Closure Technician (LCT) is dedicated to safety above all else, works well with a diverse group of people, is reliable, professional, and seeking a long-term commitment.

Terra's LCT has their driver's license and maintains a good driving record.

**A day in the life of the Lane Closure Technician

- roles and responsibilities**:


  • Execute effective traffic management plans with proper equipment
  • Assist with setting up and maintaining sites with signage and barricades
  • Direct drivers, pedestrians, and workers on safe routes
  • Protect workers by keeping work space free of traffic and warning them of approaching hazards
  • Review traffic management plans and retrieve uptodate plans when necessary
  • Pick up and drop off signs between sites and Terra's office in Burnaby when necessary
  • Train other site workers about traffic and equipment safety
  • Perform other duties as and when required
**Qualifications

  • Safety
- orientated, adheres to safety at all times

  • Have minimum of 1 year working as an LCT
  • Have minimum of 12 years working as a Traffic Control Person
  • BCCSA approved Traffic Control Certification
  • Lane Closure Technician (LCT) Certificate required
  • Class 5 Driver's License Required
  • Has a good driving record
  • Motivation to keep traffic smooth and pedestrians safe
  • Is committed to be a reliable, professional, and consistent team player
  • Comfortable with lifting cones and signs up to 50lbs

$28.00-$30.00 per hour
