Role Description:

As the Manager of Sales Operations, your role is to support the origination & advisory and business development teams, ensuring they have the right tools, processes, and tech, and they can master them over time.

We are looking for a systems-thinker who enjoys refining and implementing sales processes and constantly enabling the performance and productivity of the teams they support.

This position reports to one of two Managing Partners & Co-Heads.


Responsibilities:


Overall, you will be in charge of improving and overseeing a smooth, effective sales process to enable the well-managed growth of the organization.


  • Select / prepare business cases for, implement, and manage sales automation tools
  • Provide administration and management of our Salesforce instance
  • Streamline and optimize sales processes
  • Train staff on sales ops tools and processes for sales excellence
  • Design and write feature requests for Salesforce developers, test features and deploy them
  • Maintain and improve the quality and usability of data relating to sales, and enforce quality standards and best practices across the org
  • Work with origination leadership and other functions to develop organizational sales goals
  • Execute on strategic / special projects related to sales ops

Skills and Requirements:


You will have excellent Salesforce administration skills, as well as project management and interpersonal skills, across functions, juggling different interests of business development, origination & advisory, research & analytics, and corporate teams.


  • Prior sales operations experience (3+ years), specifically the management of a Salesforce CRM instance and related sales automation software platforms (selection, deployment, maintenance)
  • Prior experience in contributing to longterm, complex projects like fintech marketplaces
  • Analytics and reporting expertise & skills, with strong understanding of sales processes and track record of recommending and implementing improvements
  • Strong business acumen (re: go to market)
  • Project management and excellent communication skills
  • People management experience.
