Frontline Traffic Services is a well-established traffic control company, focused on providing traffic control services throughout Nova Scotia. Our team has had tremendous growth in the last year, and we are excited to keep expanding.

We are looking to hire energetic, hardworking
Traffic Control People (TCP) to join our growing team for the
upcoming
2024 season starting this spring.

In this exciting role, you would be responsible for managing traffic through construction sites in and around the Halifax/Dartmouth area.

If you enjoy being outside, working on your feet, or have an interest in getting your foot in the door with construction, this is a fantastic opportunity for you

We offer:

Competitive wages starting at $15.50/hour for those with no driver's license or not in a driver role.

- $18.00/hour for applicants who will be responsible for operating our company vehicles.

Drivers must have a valid Class 5 driver's license, a clean abstract, and no "N" or "R" on your license.
Traffic Control Person (TCP) Certification
Transportation to and from work (some exceptions may apply).
Respectful and friendly management team that will help you succeed.
Most PPE supplied by the company.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist with placing signs, barricades, and traffic cones in work areas.
Communicate with other TCPs in the workplace to regulate traffic safely.
Responsible for the safe passage of vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists through work areas.
Communicate any incidents or hazards to the Site Supervisor.
Ensure a safe work environment in accordance with all policies and procedures.
Follow instructions given by Site Foreman.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must be able to interpret both written and verbal instructions.
Reliable and punctual.
Great communication skills and willing to work in a team environment.
Able to work outside in all weather conditions, often working long days.
Comfortable working near vehicle traffic and heavy equipment.
Required ability to lift up to 30 lbs and standing for long periods of time.
Valid TCP Certification an asset.
Valid Class 5 License an asset.
