Job Statement

Responsibilities

Followingup on unpaid balances with customers
Releasing orders with immediate payment terms
Reconciliation of accounts, credit cards, cheques with orders and others
Proceeding with the credit card payment request
Proceeding with the collection of a number of customer accounts
Followingup with the documentation related to special credit terms, financing
Maintaining customer accounts
Comparing the credit card report
Preparing various reports on a daily and weekly basis such as: deposit summary, follow up on credit investigation, etc.
Providing administrative support such as sending copy of invoices, statements from customer requests
Maintaining and updating follow up information in the customer account

Qualifications

DEP (Professional Studies Diploma) in accounting or DEC in Administration
3 years of relevant work experience
Capability to work independently or with team
Bilingualism (verbal & written)
The Credit Clerk will need to communicate and write clearly in both French and English since the individual will be dealing with internal and external customers within Quebec as well as other provinces across Canada
Sales and Customer Service oriented
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, JD Edwards, Excel and Word
Availability to work extra hours
