ABOUT OUR CLINIC
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common type of dementia, making up approximately 70% of all cases. Those over the age of 65 are at a higher risk to develop AD. It diminishes cognitive, verbal and physical abilities by destroying brain cells. This in turn affects our ability to think, to learn new things, and to remember.
Many scientific experts are working to ameliorate our understanding of this devastating disease, thus searching to find more effective treatments.
Our clinics partner with pharmaceutical companies to conduct Phase II and III clinical trials for Alzheimer's Disease. Our unique contribution will revolutionize the fight against the disease.We provide care to patients, generate knowledge for the scientific community, continue to improve support, and access to clinical research.
The HR Business Partner will provide expert guidance to management on all areas of HR function, such as recruitment, performance evaluation, disciplinary procedures, policies, and HR best practices.
They will further provide continuous support and strengthen existing HR processes by leading and directing the routine functions to enforce company policies and ensure our company attract, retain and develop the best employees.
KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSABILITIES
- Contributes to the evolution of HR processes, projects, and their implementation
- Drives the full talent management cycle including all HR processes to attract, onboard, develop, motivate, and retain highperforming employees
- Administers employee onboarding and new hire orientation programs
- Oversees and provides administrative support on the employee group benefit plan
- Advises and implements the performance management program including employee and management training when required
- Manages all compensation programs including salary administration
- Develops and maintains all HR polices related to the business and legislation
- Investigates and advises on performance related issues up to and including terminations
- Assists employees with issues, questions and concerns relating to human resources
- Organizes and conducts exit interviews and collect data on resignations
- Develops and implements employee retention programs in order to retain top talent
- Consults with legal counsel where required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in human resources, industrial relations, business management, or another related discipline
- Minimum 58 years of progressive human resources experience in a fastpaced environment
- Professional qualification CHRP / CHRL is an asset
- Ability to interface at all levels of the organization is required
- Experience in a healthcare, dental or medical office is an asset
- Experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working with an HRIS is an asset, preferably BambooHR
- Fluent in both English and French; written and spoken is mandatory
