    Fraser Health seeks a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide direct and indirect rehabilitation services to adults with serious mental illness receiving Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) services.


    Your expertise in occupational therapy and psychosocial rehabilitation practices will enable you to assess, develop, implement, evaluate and document client's individualized rehabilitation plans. You will also provide consultation, referral and linking support for clients' effective entry into life skills programs.


    A high level of communication skill is required as the successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with clients families other members of the health care team community agencies co-workers students staff teams healthcare providers etc  



    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited University;
    • TWO Years' recent experience working with psychiatric Clients IN AN Acute OR community Psychiatric setting;
    • CURRENT Full registration WITH The College OF Health AND Care Professionals OF BC;
      Eligible FOR membership IN Canadian Association Of Occupational Therapists - British Columbia (CAOT – BC);    Valid B.C.Driver's License AND Access TO A PERSONAL Vehicle FOR business USE.
