Requirements:

  • Manage and oversee the effective ongoing operation of the VR/SIR processes. Develop, maintain, and evolve the process, SOPs, and practice guide.
  • Work with ITSM process owners to understand, plan and improve process interfaces, remediate process issues, challenges and develop automation opportunities.
  • Establish, implement, communicate, and monitor respective service level targets. Ensure that all relevant teams effectively and efficiently adopt the practice.
  • Develop, monitor, and communicate dashboards/reports on the process efficiency and effectiveness KPIs to drive decisions and actions with leadership stakeholders.
  • Be the escalation point for the VM/SIR process execution. Identify and remediate process adoption gaps and ensure training available and up to date.
  • Process reenforcement with various functions, working with the leadership team when needed.
  • Continual process improvement e.g., automation of assignment / task distribution, multichannel delivery etc.
  • Drive the realization of the practice vision and the evolution of Security Incident Management and Threat Vulnerability Management practices.
  • Effectively support all relevant value streams in IT (e.g., Cyber practice, Enterprise Risk Management practice, ITSM practice, PPM practice etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge of cyber security vulnerability management practice, its context, and emerging trends in the cyber security industry
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Great facilitation skills
  • Good knowledge of other IT management, ITSM practices
  • Good knowledge of the organization and its operating model, structure, and strategy
  • Good knowledge of the organization's technology environment, products and services and related architecture
  • Good knowledge of the corporate policies, standards, processes applicable to the organization and relevant to the scope of the practice
  • Good leadership competencies
