(TCSG) provides complete and cost-effective maintenance and technical support services to a wide variety of industries in Western Canada including Oil and Gas, Mining, Pulp and Paper, Power, Manufacturing, Food Processing as well as Water and Wastewater Treatment. Our areas of expertise include Automation and Controls, Instrumentation and Electrical. We have a need for a
Second or Third Year Electrical Apprentice who can join our team full time and add value to our current client base at our main office in Airdrie Ab. We offer a competitive compensation and benefit package.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Good work experience / knowledge of how to use tools
• Ability to take direction
• Some travelling required
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds

S
pecific Qualifications

• Registered Apprentice (required)
• Class 5 Drivers License (preferred)
• Knowledge of PLC wiring considered an asset

kills

• Accurately follow blueprints and drawings
• Control Panel wiring considered an asset
• Follow direction of Journeyman's directions and ask for clarification when required
• Installation of wire and cable
• Installation of cable tray
• Install fittings into devices
• Cut and mount strut for raceway supports
• Knowledge of general industrial/electrical safety protocols and procedures
• Familiar with general industrial electrical codes and requirements

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$20.00-$30.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay

Experience:

• Electrical: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Drivers Licence (preferred)
