Understanding the customer shopping journey, checkout flow and payment processing across online platform businesses, in order to define the strengths and weaknesses of our internal checkout process;
Improving the customer shopping experience by identifying situations that could potentially cause billing discrepancies (over/under charge) by analyzing large datasets and deriving insights;
Using SQL and other business intelligence tools to build and maintain reports & queries based on any changes to the business;
Investigating and documenting findings, in order to visualize the nature of the issues and help support management in bringing corrective actions;
Working with developers, finance and IT functions to better understand issues or opportunities, to then help define and plan possible solutions for complex data analysis initiatives;
Writing clear and concise stories for development team for product features, communicating issues and goals using a combination of process flows and/or diagrams as appropriate;

Here are the requirements for this role:

2+ years of experience in a similar role;
Extensive knowledge and experience of online payment processing industry is highly encouraged;
Ability to learn and understand various business processes related to ecommerce and travel;
Ability to build models, queries & reports from scratch using databases, SQL queries, and Excel;
Experience with visualization and business intelligence tools such as Looker;
Be comfortable auditing data to validate accuracy and completeness;
Effective problem solving, analytical and documentation skills leading to ability to pinpoint patterns and make effective recommendations;
Working with different stakeholders to assist with data acquisition, datarelated technical issues and other analytics needs;
Working in a fastpaced and technological environment, with strong communication skills and respecting strict deadlines;
Ability to manage large amounts of data and turn said data into meaningful analysis to respond to various inquiries;

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un analyste de données, précision de la facturation et des paiements, avec plus de 2 ans d'expérience, pour travailler aux côtés de notre gestionnaire des finances et de la comptabilité.

Dans ce rôle, vous deviendrez l'expert en la matière pour comprendre les paiements et le flux de caisse de Flighthub, et améliorer l'expérience du client en identifiant les situations où des divergences de facturation pourraient se produire (sur-facturation/sous-facturation).

Vous aurez l'occasion de travailler en étroite collaboration avec des experts commerciaux, des développeurs et des chefs de projet dans l'ensemble de l'entreprise afin de construire et de maintenir une fonction commerciale qui assurera la conformité et des contrôles financiers solides dans l'ensemble de l'organisation.
