Vasai Sales Associates have a passion to help customers find merchandise that best suits their needs.

They are able to build meaningful and long lasting relationships with customers by using their expertise and knowledge to guide customers throughout the furniture shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain store sales as communicated by Store Manager.
• Ensure all customers are provided with quick and efficient service.
• Promote customization services and our unique inventory to our customers in order to enhance their shopping experience and distinguish Vasai from competitors.
• Support customer inquiries on phone, Facebook, Instagram and our website.
• Demonstrate company standards in selling, customer service, visual merchandising and teamwork.
• Build good relationships with customers by demonstrating product knowledge and the use of strong interpersonal skills.
• Focus on promoting sales by maintaining a strong, visible and positive presence on the sales floor.
• Communicate regularly, effectively and efficiently with all team members, supplier and delivery contacts.
• Develop a complete understanding and awareness of applicable company policies and procedures including security and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned, including nonselling work, as required by Store manager.

Job Requirements

• Previous customer service and sales experience.
• Ability to build/maintain a client base and provide creative furnishing solutions for customers' needs.
• 6+ months competitive sales or interior design service experience preferred.
• High School or equivalent level diploma.
• Good reading, written and verbal language skills (English).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to move and/ or lift heavier merchandise when needed.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay

• Mississauga, ON L5R 4B8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
