Shop Service Manager
Alberta Cryogenics has an immediate opening for a Service Manager to join our dynamic team.

The most qualified applicant will be a self-starter, someone who welcomes challenges and works independently while still maintaining a safe, team-focused work environment.

Red Seal Certification a plus.


Responsibilities:

• Provides leadership and training for all staff in the service and repair shop
• Maintaining strong relationships with all customers, whether they be internal or

external contacts

• Assist Heavy Equipment Technicians with technical and / or mechanical challenges
• Responsible for quoting all service jobs and provide accurate lead times to all clients
• Oversee and assist in high priority manufacturing projects
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and identify faults or malfunctions of heavy equipment to

determine the extent of repair required

• Establishes scopes of work, scheduling, and proper execution planning with management

and direct reports

• Involved in testing all repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that

work meets manufacturers' specifications and company quality standards

• Responsible for field service calls, may need to assist with troubleshooting and actual

repairs onsite

• Responsible for all facility and equipment maintenance

Skills Required:

• Excellent organizational & computer skills, parts knowledge and/or training, industry

knowledge, inventory management & shipping/receiving

• Good judgement and analytical abilities
• Good leadership and teamwork abilities
• Problem solving, meeting deadlines and goals
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience with

Microsoft Basics:
Office, Outlook, Word, Excel

General office hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm with overtime and weekend work as needed to meet production demands.

Salary:
$70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
