    Are you a talented individual who is committed to quality work? Bring your legal knowledge and skills to PRA Group Canada as a Law ClerkReporting to the Supervisor of Legal Support Administration, this role will support the daily operations of the Legal Department.

    Prepare files for legal actions (i.e., plaintiff's claims)Manage and work an active legal queueDraft small claims court documents (i.e.

    , Assist Paralegal with preparation for court hearings where applicableMeet all legal action process deadlinesWork closely with various agents and court officesProvide updates of file statusWhat you will bring:
    Law Clerk Diploma or Paralegal Program graduateUnderstanding of the Ontario Small Claims process and/or creditor's rightsProficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

    Strong communication skills and attention to detailAbility to multi-task and meet deadlinesPrevious experience in collections and/or small claims court procedure is preferredPrevious experience in a law firm or legal department is preferredFamiliarity with online filing procedures for small claims court (Service Ontario and Justice Services Online) is preferredBilingual (French/English) is considered an assetPass criminal background checkWhat sets us apart:
