Accounting Clerk - Montréal, Canada - Portage

At the Head Office
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Accounting Clerk will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
RESPONSABILITIES
- Participate in payment processes
- Check invoices
- Process and follow up on cheques
- Make bank deposits as required by the department
- Enter transactions into accounting system
- Verify and correct accuracy of account transactions
- Receive payments
- Collect and follow up accounts
- Prepare and write various reports
- Perform all other related tasks associated with the position
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Hold a professional (DEP), A.E.C., D.E.C., or other relevant training completed
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in a similar position
- Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, intermediate level of Excel required.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, analytical skills and willingness to learn.
- Autonomy and organizational skills
- Detailoriented and methodical

Job Type: Temporary (6 months), part-time (3 days/21 hours)
