    Description

    Position: Licensed Tool and Die Maker
    Industry: Manufacturing of components used in the transportation as well as other industries
    Location: London, ON
    Shifts: Afternoon and Night Shifts Available – STRAIGHT SHIFTS

    Requirements:

    · Valid Toolmaker Certification / License Required

    · Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or similar role

    · Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of tooling principles

    · Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments

    · Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) for designing tooling components

    · Thorough knowledge of blueprint reading & interpretation

    · Thorough knowledge of operating tool room & production equipment (grinding, milling, lathe)

    · Possess good mathematical and mechanical knowledge & aptitude.

    · Knowledge of GD+T

    · Excellent trouble shooting for dies, cutting tools, etc.
