***: We are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a General Laboure at our solar construction site. As a crucial member of our project, you will be responsible for supporting various construction activities, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to contribute to the growth of renewable energy and gain valuable experience in the solar industry.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Site Preparation

  • Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barricades, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Handle basic tools and equipment for site preparation, such as shovels, wheelbarrows, and rakes.

Material Handling

  • Transport and handle construction materials safely and efficiently.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper storage and organization onsite.

Equipment Operation

  • Operate basic construction equipment with limited supervision, including but not limited to forklifts, telehandler, skid steer, and other small machinery.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality.

Support Installation Teams

  • Collaborate with solar installation teams to facilitate the assembly and installation of solar panels and related infrastructure.
  • Help with the positioning and securing of solar components.

Safety Compliance

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly to the site supervisor.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with fellow team members and follow instructions from supervisors to meet project deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure smooth coordination with various construction teams.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Previous experience in construction or related field preferred.
  • Basic understanding of construction procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the job.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

$22.00-$26.00 per hour
