  • Improve Customer and Partner experience. Alongside continuous new products and new services development as well as superior customer support, Supply Chain Management actively contributes to reinforce Nexans NAM as the Canadian expert in electrification
  • The role is a keyfunction in the business unit to manage and improve Customer Experience CX and Partner Experience PX, to strengthen and implement the Supply Chain strategy in line with our service commitment
  • In the position you will play a central role in the BU and will interact closely with all levels. Internal key interfaces with Sales, Marketing, Plant Managers, Planning managers and Purchasing team
  • You will measure performance and identify new opportunities of improving service via monthly meeting with counterpart at Customer and Partner level

Areas of Responsibility

  • Manage the S&OP process of the two cable plants to improve customer and partner service level, inventory levels, production planning, asset utilization and overall capacity for profitable growth
  • Monitor RM and WIP inventory to meet load request, monitor FG stock level to meet customer and partner requests. Both in line with the BU working capital targets
  • In line with sales management, manage MTO enquiries (special packaging, special cables,) and decide to quote or to propose a standard alternative
  • Adjust and provide inventory targets at SKU level for Fergus / MTS in line with forecast and business strategies
  • Manage inventory aging and quality
  • Manage the fleet of reels that is leased to customers
  • Manage cable reels allocation as per available stock
  • Manage Hydro One specific inventory

Skills and Qualifications

Adopt a global vision and consolidate demand and capacity planning at the BU level

  • Align S&OP plans on the financial objectives
  • Good communication skills
  • Results oriented, selfstarter and highly motivated.
  • Strong ability to multitask and effectively handle several projects and priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Master in engineering and/or business management, degree in supply chain is a plus
  • 10 years' experience in supply chain management in industrial environment

Work in coordination with all BU functions from Marketing to plants to develop new Nexans offers and impulse innovation for reaching service level

  • Communicates with sales team to map partner needs and challenge sales forecast ambitions
  • Can advise the sales team in order to increase satisfaction and loyalty
  • Provide guidance to sales teams to optimize an digitalize partner relationship (EDI, VMI, )
  • Design and Manage actions plans on improvements of Supply Chain processes impacting Partner and Customer
  • Work with all functions (Marketing, Sales, Operations and plants) to implement continuous improvement programs
