Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Manager Consolidation & Financial Reporting will oversee and manage the financial reporting process for the Recochem Group.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the consolidation monthend close process and prepare monthly financial statements including income statement, balance sheet and cashflow statements.
- Review the quarterly financial statements prepared by the consolidation analyst.
- Maintain and develop accounting policies and guidance to ensure compliance of financial information with IFRS. Provide training to the finance team of the group as needed.
- Lead the preparation of the yearend financial statements and ensure compliance with IFRS.
- Ensure that new IFRS requirements are monitored and lead any IFRS implementation project due to changes in IFRS.
- Lead the external audit for the group, with the help of the local financial controllers.
- Provide support for various accounting question for the group and prepare accounting memos as needed and mostly for revenue accounting, lease accounting and business combination.
- Participate in ERP or software implementation as needed
Qualifications:
- CPA designation required
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting
- A minimum of 68 years of relevant experience
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Strong organizational skills and committed to deadlines
- Solutiondriven mindset and facility to adapt to changing environment.
- Strong work ethic, integrity and positive team spirit
- Bilingual, English and French
