Cad System Consultant - Montréal, Canada - Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure

Description

Hexagon Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial is seeking a CAD System Consultant to guide public safety customers through the extensive process of implementing new computer aided dispatch systems.

• Conduct inperson workshops covering a wide range of public safety operational and technical topics.
• Software testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Provide indepth consulting with customers on their desired outcomes and translating those outcomes into software configuration.
• Conduct user training for customers trainers and endusers as needed.
• Provide status reports on project work on a weekly basis to project managers.
• Attend regular customer facing meetings as the implementation expert.
• Accurately tracking and recording time spent on daily activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Canadian residency required.
• Bilingual fluency in English and French.
• Indepth understanding of core information technology concepts:
• TCP/IP networking
• Windows operating systems (Server and Client)
• Microsoft SQL Server required; Oracle desired.
• Structured query language, high availability platforms
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure technologies desired, but not required.
• Prior experience with computer aided dispatch and/or public safety answer point (PSAP) operations preferred.
• Demonstrated history of critical thinking and advanced problem solving.
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• A selfmotivated, organized, and detailoriented mindset.
