Global Banking and Markets


Global Banking & Markets provides a full range of investment banking, credit and risk management products and services relevant to the financing and strategic development needs of our clients.

Our products include debt and equity financing, mergers & acquisitions, corporate banking, institutional equity sales, trading and research, fixed income products, derivatives, energy, foreign exchange, and precious & metals.

Purpose


This role supports the Regulatory and Business Initiatives team in the delivery of assigned projects within the Regulatory Initiatives Group portfolio, including supporting the execution of project tasks.


Accountabilities

  • Work closely with identified key stakeholders to drive project tasks to support project documentation management tasks.
  • Assist in identifying best practices and identify opportunities to support project goals as determined by the core project team.
  • Continually acquire and enhance knowledge of both the Bank's and the Division's business strategies, shifting regulatory environment, evolving risk management practices and methodologies, new products, updated operational processes, and rapidly changing technology to be able to drive effective business solutions.
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in daytoday activities and decisions.
  • Supports Associate Director, Regulatory and Business Initiatives with adhoc data analytics, problems solving, and project execution in order to support the overall Regulatory and Business Initiatives Group.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of daytoday business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
  • Champions a highperformance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment, communicating vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team.

Requirements:


  • A recognized undergraduate degree preferably in Mathematics, Computer Science or Business is required.
  • 3+ years of working experience in BI/data analytics in a Consulting or Banking setting.

Working Conditions

  • Work in a standard officebased environment
- or BCP location as required; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
