- The Manager of Imaging is responsible for facilitating the care for imaging patients by: ensuring quality patient care and competent safe practice; coordinating staffing levels; reviewing workload measurement trends and addressing workload concerns; assessing, evaluating and acting as a resource regarding staff development; identifying educational needs and providing/arranging inservices and directing/developing educational packages; managing employee relations through knowledge of collective agreements and corporate policies and procedures; developing/updating policies and procedures as required; demonstrating current knowledge of budget management, utilization management and fiscal accountability. As a dynamic leader, the Manager will demonstrate creativity, flexibility and innovation; and promote effective team building and facilitate staff professional development through promotion of standards of practice and ongoing learning._
REPORTS TO:_ _Director, Diagnostics, Regional Pharmacy and Chemotherapy_

SALARY:_ _$130,628 per annum _
QUALIFICATIONS:_
- _Bachelors degree in related field and/or Advanced Certification (ACR) in Imaging _
- _Current registration with, or be eligible for registration with, the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario or respective regulated College_

EXPERIENCE:_
- _7-10 years of current progressive Professional Experience_
- _5-7 years of current progressive Management or Supervisory Experience_

ABILITIES:_
- _Demonstrated exceptional leadership and team building skills_
- _Exceptional clinical skills in the area of Imaging_
- _Demonstrated commitment to person centered care and interprofessional practice model of care_
- _Proven management skills including financial, human resources, quality improvement, change management, evaluation, planning, organizational, utilization and time management skills_
- _Well developed mutual gain negotiation and conflict management resolution skills_
- _Demonstrated analytical skills necessary to gather and interpret qualitative and quantitative data_
- _Effective verbal and written communication skills_
- _Effective presentation skills, and knowledge to develop and teach educational programs_
- _Computer literate_
- _Ability to juggle the competing demands of supporting numerous staff members_
