THE ROLE

The installer performs efficient installation and assembly of office furniture within clients' facilities, including systems furniture, casegoods, accessories, wall-hung units, etc.

Is responsible for timely completion of the work with a high level of workmanship and high degree of customer satisfaction.

Your essential duties and responsibilities would include the following but are not limited to:

Understands basic installation processes: unloading, loading, staging, uncartoning, panel assembly, component assembly, cleanup and detailing, lock installation, etc.
Knows how to assemble, finetune and detail panels, electrical parts, components, casegoods, seating, filing, tables, etc.
Can read plans, blueprints, and elevations, and understands architectural and furniture symbols.
Is capable and efficient in the assembly of furniture, resulting in quality workmanship.
Understands basic electricity and systems furniture electrical component installation.

You're the right fit if you:

Have a high school diploma or G.E.D
Valid Drivers License (Without Restrictions)
Have excellent listening and communication skills & exceptional customer service skills
Clean appearance with professional attitude
Are interested in continuous learning
Are in good physical condition and able to lift heavy boxes
Have previous experience working in warehouse environment
Have forklift experience and certification (Not a requirement but considered an asset)
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and other related programs
Perform well in a fastpaced environment
Understands furniture material handling and logístical processes.
Can receive and document receipt of product in a thorough and accurate manner.

This is a full-time permanent position, working out of our impeccably designed and furnished office. You'll mostly work from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with irregular or extended hours as projects demand.
