THE ROLE
The installer performs efficient installation and assembly of office furniture within clients' facilities, including systems furniture, casegoods, accessories, wall-hung units, etc.
Is responsible for timely completion of the work with a high level of workmanship and high degree of customer satisfaction.
Your essential duties and responsibilities would include the following but are not limited to:- Understands basic installation processes: unloading, loading, staging, uncartoning, panel assembly, component assembly, cleanup and detailing, lock installation, etc.
- Knows how to assemble, finetune and detail panels, electrical parts, components, casegoods, seating, filing, tables, etc.
- Can read plans, blueprints, and elevations, and understands architectural and furniture symbols.
- Is capable and efficient in the assembly of furniture, resulting in quality workmanship.
- Understands basic electricity and systems furniture electrical component installation.
You're the right fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or G.E.D
- Valid Drivers License (Without Restrictions)
- Have excellent listening and communication skills & exceptional customer service skills
- Clean appearance with professional attitude
- Are interested in continuous learning
- Are in good physical condition and able to lift heavy boxes
- Have previous experience working in warehouse environment
- Have forklift experience and certification (Not a requirement but considered an asset)
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and other related programs
- Perform well in a fastpaced environment
- Understands furniture material handling and logístical processes.
- Can receive and document receipt of product in a thorough and accurate manner.
