SAP Functional Consultant (Material Management / Inventory Management) consultant role typically this area is used for managing inventory levels, tracking goods movements, and performing various inventory-related transactions within Material Management


Responsibilities:


  • Design and configure the SAP Inventory Management components within Material Management according to client requirements
  • Analyze business processes and recommend solutions that align with SAP best practices
  • Conduct enduser training and support during the implementation phase
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful integration of the SAP Inventory Management module with other systems
  • Provide postimplementation support and maintenance of the SAP system
  • Document business requirements, functional specifications, and test plans

Must be located in Calgary or willing to relocate to Calgary.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in SAP Material Management module configuration and implementation
  • Strong knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management) and EWM (Extended Warehouse management) modules
  • Experience in conducting business process analysis and recommending solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and project managers

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • SAP certification in Material Management is a plus.
