Description

Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and AEC used for 2D creation of floor plans.
Drafting of basic architectural floor plans.
Good understanding and ability to read blueprints/construction drawings.
Graphic illustration of floor plans in the creation of emergency response signage.
Basic Architectural floor plans only, this position is not arch/struc production drawings for construction drawings.

We are creating floor plans for the purpose of graphic illustration of emergency response signage and base floor plans for fire plan's.

College or Technical Institute education
Excellent command of the English language; both verbal and written.
Strong Computer Skills
Ability to interpret source drawing information from hand-draw's
Strong attention to detail
The ability to problem-solve when required
The ability to manage tasks and prioritize work as required.

There are times when there are pressing projects with tight deadlines and it is important to be able to handle the pressure that may go hand-in-hand.

Excellent follow-up skills in order to ensure that project deadlines can be met.
Willingness to learn about the different types of Life Safety Systems that can be found throughout our different projects.
Knowledge and understanding of North American Architectural Standards.
