The Early Childhood Educator will provide a quality, caring and supportive childcare program, meet all reglatory standards required by the Ministry of Education and other governing bodies such as the Brant County Health Unit, Fire Department, etc.

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education registered with the College of ECE
• Uptodate immunizations
• Valid First Aid/CPR
• Police check (within 6 months of hire date)

• Observe, carry out, and assess developmentally appropriate activities in line with the centre philosophy and program statement
• Individualize the program for each child's various needs
• Ensure guidance of children's behaviour that encourages positive selfconcept
• Ensure the children's environment is healthy and safe
• Ensure positive communication with families
• Contribute to the ongoing operations of the centre

• The childcare facility is licensed for 174 children
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Indoor and outdoor activities, in hot and cold temperatures
• Standing, bending, crouching, some lifting
• Repetitive movements
• In constant contact with bacteria and viruses

• Brantford, ON N3T 1W9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

• ECE Licence (preferred)
