    What is the opportunity?

    The Dealer Services Manager supports the commercial automotive finance business by managing an assigned portfolio of clients ensuring (i) credit facilities are in compliance with agreements and policies; (ii) bank systems reflect the terms as authorized; (iii) prompt response to requests from internal/external clients; (iv) identification of deteriorating risk situations and recommended course of action, and (v) syndication requirements are properly managed and documented.

    What will you do?

    • Develop and manage internal and external relationships with clients, business unit contacts and partners as they relate to commercial automotive portfolios.
    • Daily credit line excess and exception management. Complete credit requests for any temporary/permanent increases and obtain risk approval.
    • Covenant / reporting breach monitoring. Tracking and follow up for receipt of all compliance reporting from clients. Work together with partners to resolve any issues.
    • Documentation and security management. Prepare legal agreements and security packages. Engage external counsel if required. Contact clients and partners to resolve out of order situations.
    • Manage wholesale on-boarding and payout requests with other Financial Institutions.
    • Portfolio reporting. Prepare monthly portfolio view of financial and operational trends by client, region and OEM. Confirm assigned portfolio is in compliance with approved terms.
    • The role is hybrid

    What do you need to succeed?

    Must have:

    • Analytical and detail oriented with strong problem solving skills.
    • Strong negotiation skills to create win-win scenarios.
    • Excellent written and communications abilities, strong PC skills and an ability to prioritize work and manage competing demands.

    Nice to have:

    • Post secondary degree / diploma.
    • Financial analysis skills and risk analysis aptitude for identifying inconsistencies and exposure.
    • Automotive wholesale floorplan experience.
    • Knowledge of automotive dealership / leasing company operations.
    • Bilingual (English/French)
