Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring all showroom guests are made to feel comfortable and welcome.

Additionally they will ensure all guests are directed to the appropriate personnel to address customer needs.

Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and Saturday 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Primary Responsibilities

Greet, direct and track every customer who enters the showroom
Offer refreshments to all customers and ensures accompanying visitors or family members, including children, are acknowledged and made to feel welcome and comfortable
Ensure Reception has all VIP appointments posted
Facilitate appraisal process
Facilitate recruitment process
Turn customer over to Product Advisor or Sales Manager as necessary
Oversee cleanliness and safety of showroom and common areas, including alerting maintenance to any building issues such as lighting or needed repairs
Ensure coffee and tea supplies are replenished
General administrative duties (scanning, filing, mail)
Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualification:

Strong communication and customer service skills
Previous experience in a retail environment an asset
Display a friendly and professional approach to all customers and visitors
Highly organized and able to interact well with Customers and Dealership Staff
Capable of conversing with others pleasantly, clearly and effectively
Ability to work evenings and weekends in a retail environment
Experienced and skilled with computers and different types of software (Microsoft Office, Google Suite)
Secondary language an asset

Basic Toyota vehicle knowledge would be an asset, or alternatively the ability to learn product knowledge quickly.

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 25-26 per week

Salary:
$16.00-$17.00 per hour

Experience:

- dealership: 1 year (preferred)

- receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
