The School of Health and Human Performance's vision is 'physical and mental wellness for all, seeking to improve health outcomes for diverse populations.

The School offers programs leading to Bachelor of Science and Master's Degrees in Kinesiology, Health Promotion, Leisure Studies, Therapeutic Recreation, and Recreation Management.

The Recreation and Leisure Studies program has two specialization streams:
Therapeutic Recreation and Recreation Management.

The Recreation Management program is unique in Canada, as the only program where students graduate with undergraduate degrees in Recreation and in Management.

We are accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Parks, Recreation, Tourism and Related Professions (COAPRT).

The workload will include teaching at least five courses in the fall and winter terms, such as:

Introduction to Recreation and Leisure, Foundations of Recreation Management, Analysis of Leisure Service Delivery Systems, and/or Recreation Facilities Design and Operations Management.

Applications must include a cover letter stating qualifications and experience; a Curriculum Vitae, a statement of teaching experience and interests; and evidence of teaching effectiveness.
