The Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis role will support the Canadian and International Finance teams by supporting the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, analyzing financial results, providing recommendations for adjustments, gathering inputs from business partners, and supporting the maintenance of the planning system.

Additionally, this role will support the completion of various monthly/quarterly management reporting, maintain, and prepare corporate allocation models, and oversee the local chart of accounts and system report maintenance and development.


HERE'S HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Participate in the delivery of the detailed annual budget and quarterly forecasts; including revenue input and analysis, development of operating expense plans by analyzing past spend, evaluating impact of business changes, and providing recommendations on revisions needed.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret actual financial results against budget, forecast, and prior year, reporting on key observations.
  • Support the delivery of Canadian and International monthly/quarterly/yearly management reporting packages.
  • Prepare financial presentations /models for used by various business stakeholders, including executive leadership and Finance leadership from other international regions.
  • Prepare and maintain international and corporate allocation models.
  • Development and maintenance of system generated reports.
  • Identify, initiate, and support process improvements by critically assessing processes, thinking differently, and leveraging technology.
  • Participate in additional projects and conduct adhoc analysis as required.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 2+ years of financial analysis experience in a complex environment, preferably in FP&A
  • Postsecondary degree or diploma from an accredited Business Administration college or university; CPA/CFA or working towards considered an asset.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Experience with Oracle EPM or Hyperion considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problemidentification and resolution skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills & effective communicator (written and oral).
  • High degree of social competence (social awareness, relationship management).
  • High degree of personal competence (selfawareness, selfmanagement, organizational skill).
  • A quick learner with the ability to take initiative and be proactive.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
