Job Overview

The General Labourer/Helper will assist the Spray Foam Technician with the timely coordination of installing spray foam insulation in residential and commercial buildings to the required specifications as provided by the Operations Manager.

This position shall be guided by the Spay Foam Technician under the direction of the Operations Manager.

The individual holding this position shall possess the ability to effectively manage the daily work assignments, supplies and equipment as required.

Further, the General Labourer/Helper shall contribute to the company's overall profitability and the quality of our Customer's experience.


Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist with daily spray foam truck inspection which includes material levels, tools, engine oil, gasoline, coolant, washer fluid, generator fluid and outside circle check of vehicle condition
• Assist upon arrival at jobsite checkin/signin with site supervisor/foreman/homeowner prior to commencing work
• Assist with the necessary preparations at the jobsite by unloading equipment & setting up items at the location.
• Receive direction from Spray Foam Technician with respect to preinspection of the jobsite to ensure proper measures are in place to prevent and protect against overspray.
• Assist with the securing of any wiring (electrical/cable/phone/security) and
• Ensure a clean work site
• Upon work completion perform a final jobsite walk through to ensure tools and materials and/or garbage is collected and on stored appropriately.
• Complete endofday cleanup of work truck
• Ensure daily work record is accurately completed
• Frequent and/or repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs over shoulder height
• Climbing, use of ladders & scaffolding and able to work in confined spaces
• Other duties as required

• Ability to read, speak and write English

This is a full-time position at Ecotech Insulation Solutions Inc., 320 Hilton Drive, Stoney Creek, Ontario


Remuneration:

This is an hourly position
