Moby Dick restaurant is looking for a Beverage Server to join our team. We are looking for a reliable, outgoing, and responsible individual who is passionate about food and serving our guests.


Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an appropriate level of service in a timely, friendly manner
• Serve beverages in a timely manner and in a responsible manner by following proper sanitation procedures
• Take food and beverage orders from customers in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean station, including the use of sanitizer, within the boundaries of company standards and procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of all menu items and describe their characteristics and features
• Explain beverages ingredients and effects
• Take required shifts to help keep the bar area clean and order bar supplies as needed
• Help prepare for scheduled shifts as needed
• Help keep the station clean, including the use of sanitizer, within the boundaries of company standards and procedures
• Assume responsibility for all beverage orders from guests while maintaining accurate inventory records
• Maintain a positive attitude and work with a team to help maintain a positive attitude toward all team members
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor

Skills

• Proven working experience as a server or server serving large groups at least one year
• Attention to detail and proper sanitation procedures
• Excellent customer service skills along with a friendly personality to greet guests personally
• Knowledge of food menu and ingredients preferred

Salary:
From $17.00 per hour
