Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machine with Fanuc and Okuma Controls
- Able to read technical drawings and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Setup equipment by setting adjustments to match specifications; testing tolerances.
- Verify parts by using precision measuring instruments.
- Recording measurement on Quality Controls Documentation.
- Inspects completed work for conformance to specifications.
- Observes all standard safety practices and maintains and completes all required records.
- May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
- Assist Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality programs in promoting and monitoring Safety First initiatives and goals as stated in the company operational policy throughout the organization.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Your Profile:
years of related experience
- Ability to operate equipment in a safe and controlled manner
- Basic computer skills
- Forklift Certification preferred
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work with mínimal guidance
- Team player. Able to work in a fastpaced, multishift environment.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills allowing one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Individuals should be able to communicate well with coworkers, work under pressure, driven to work hard, and have a positive attitude
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Conditions:
This position is a 12-hour shift, 3 shifts per week.
Wages according to the IUOE115 collective agreement, start at $34 and shortly increase to $42 per hour. Additionally, hourly shift premiums are paid for certain designations and duties. As well, you will receive the benefit of an industry-leading employer contribution to your pension plan.
