Responsibilities:

We are looking for a motivated and energetic individual to join our team to assist with tasks such as:

  • Daily recording of income and expense entries
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Recording of daily sales reports
  • Balancing cash accounts
  • Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
  • Communicating with clients about any questions or concerns
  • Processing and running Payroll using QuickBooks, RBC Express portal, and any other banking system as required
  • Accounts Payable (Paying Suppliers), Printing cheques and sending wires
  • Employee Vacation Tracking
  • Creating Record of Employments for terminated staff
  • Helping with yearly budgeting
  • Preparing monthend reports for clients and investors
  • Yearend reports
  • Government reports and remittances
  • Other related duties as require

Job Qualifications:_

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in bookkeeping or payroll
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • QuickBooks Online experience is an asset
  • Extensive knowledge in excel and word
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Selfmotivated and independent
  • Detail and deadlineoriented

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$19.12-$29.65 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
  • Overtime pay

Experience:


  • QuickBooks: 3 years (preferred)
  • Bookkeeping: 3 years (preferred)
