    Your Opportunity:

    Key activities include but are not limited to direct patient care services. Drug distribution services (indirect patient care). Drug information and education/research activities. Precepting and teaching pharmacy residents, staff, and students.

    Description:

    As a Pharmacist I, you will be responsible for the safe, effective and efficient preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical services. You will manage medication therapy for patients, both initially and on an ongoing basis. In addition, you will provide assessment, intervention and resolution of potential or actual drug-related problems and oversee activities related to compounding and packaging.

    Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).

    Additional Required Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:

    Ability to use evidence-based medicine in direct patient care.Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists (CSHP).Demonstrates good time management.Hospital residency is an asset.Motivated and self-directed for on-going continuing competence.Previous experience in Cardiology.Previous experience with training and precepting. Previous project experience and committee work.
