    Job Summary:

    • Job Title - Business Development Representative
    • Job Type - Full-time, On-site
    • Location – North York, ON
    • Salary - Competitive salary based on experience.
    • Working hours – Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

    Ecom Logistics is one of the fastest growing asset-based third-party logistics companies in Canada, providing specialized Fulfillment, and Final Mile services on a national scale. We are seeking a dynamic and proactive BDR to join our growing team with a passion for driving sales opportunities. This BDR will play a crucial role in identifying and qualifying potential leads, initiating contact, and nurturing relationships to drive business growth.

    Responsibilities included, but not limited to:-

    Lead Generation -

    • Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities through various channels, including but not limited to outbound calls, emails, social media, and research.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential prospects and gather information on industry trends.

    Lead Qualification -

    • Evaluate and qualify leads based on predetermined criteria to ensure alignment with our target customer profile.
    • Engage in meaningful conversations with prospects to understand their needs and challenges.

    Communication -

    • Initiate and maintain effective communication with prospects through phone calls, emails, and social media.
    • Clearly articulate the value proposition of our products/services to potential clients.

    Sales Collaboration -

    • Collaborate closely with the sales team to transition qualified leads and provide them with comprehensive information for further engagement.
    • Maintain open lines of communication with sales representatives to ensure seamless lead handovers.

    CRM Management -

    • Utilize HubSpot to document lead interactions, update prospect information, and track the progress of opportunities.
    • Generate reports and analyses on lead generation and conversion metrics.

    Continuous Learning –

    • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to contribute valuable insights to the sales and marketing teams.
    • Continuously develop product knowledge and understand the unique selling points of our offerings.

    Goal Achievement -

    • Work towards and exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified lead generation.
    • Contribute to the overall sales pipeline and revenue goals of the organization.

    Qualifications:

    • College diploma or degree
    • Proven experience of 2-3 years as a Business Development Representative or similar role.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Goal-oriented with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
    • Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce or any other sales CRM
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
