    The University of Toronto is seeking an accomplished government relations leader to serve as its next Chief of Government Relations. This strategic role plays a key part in advancing policies and positions that align with the University's mission.

    • Leads the University's government relations and advocacy function, advancing policies and positions that align with UofT's mission while supporting governments at various levels.
    • Works closely with senior officials, political staff, and public servants to cultivate relationships for effective engagement.
    Your Role:

    As our ideal candidate, you will be a principled leader who brings clarity & foresight to advocacy efforts, fostering collaboration across a large institution. You have led integrated advocacy strategies, advised executive leadership on high-stakes issues & built durable relationships grounded in credibility & trust.

      

    Guides the University's advocacy strategy at all three levels of government,  working proactively to cultivate & sustain relationshipswith senior elected officials & political staff.
