  • WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Report to Director, Membership and Member Rewards.
  • Champion the implementation of Membership strategies, policies and processes while supporting the Association's overarching strategic direction.
  • Work with colleagues from across the organization on shared opportunities, to encompass emerging technology, digital communications, and modernization.
  • Work with operations teams to develop new processes and implement changes to help reduce overall cost burden and improve operational efficiency.
  • Oversee and recommend changes to membership to meet/exceed objectives for member satisfaction, member engagement, membership growth and retention.
  • Review, manage, and recommend changes to membership products (constructs & benefits), ensuring they are providing outstanding member value at an acceptable cost
  • Lead and collaborate with internal stakeholders on Membership offers and pricing changes.
  • Lead the collection of market feedback through focus groups, product testing, and forecasting.
  • Be the Domain Expert on Membership strategy, benefits, and value propositions
  • Ensure the accuracy and relevance of Membership information on the member website, intranet, marketing collateral and all membership communications.
  • Lead development and implementation of the Membership Strategic Plan.
  • Manage membership billing, fulfillment, and budgeting with internal and external resources.
  • Be a key player in protecting member privacy and the integrity of data
  • Ensure membership training supports the membership strategy and is accurate and updated to reflect any changes in membership offering, benefits & support systems.
  • Participate in membership acquisition and retention activities/events (pop-up shops, membership events, etc.)
  • Participate and provide input into the forecast that determines the goals for membership growth and retention
  • Work collaboratively to address issues and improve member engagement.
  • WHAT YOU'VE DONE

  • You have a Post-Secondary degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • You've got at least 5 years' experience in product management, project management or product operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of AMA's Membership products and services is considered an asset.
  • You know all the ins and outs of how to be extremely organized and capable of tracking, managing, and resolving issues effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Above all ... you have a strong history of results ... a history of making a product you've worked on, a service you've provided, or a company you've worked for; better, stronger, more loved and more purchased.
  • You will be able to pass a Canadian Criminal Record Check
