Continually growing and expanding, we are now looking for an exceptional Purchasing Assistant to join our dynamic Product team.

The Position:

In this role you will:

Create purchasing reports for buyers' review.
Create Purchase Orders in SAP.
Purchase Order Management (Vendor Confirmation & ETA Updates).
Assist in maintaining Item Master Database.
Manage vendor relationships.
Vendor price file management.
Set up new items in SAP.
Set up monthly promotions in SAP.
Arrange pickups and deliveries of incoming shipments.
Organize and submit customs documents to the forwarder.
Create OutofStock reports for buyers' review.
Manage UPC and serial number tracking.
Track competitor pricing.
Maintain current awareness of industry market trends.
Research new items in the market and present them to the Director of Product.
Answer sales questions where possible (Incoming shipment ETAs etc).
Assist with provincial government product call spreadsheets.
Submit warranty RAs to vendors.
Investigate inventory discrepancies as required.
Assist Purchasing Manager with special projects as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

years experience in a purchasing role is preferred.
years ERP experience (SAP preferable).

Detail oriented.
Highly organized.
Knowledge and experience within the cannabis accessory space is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong negotiation skills.
MS Excel level intermediate.
Positive happy disposition.
Quick learner.
Good with numbers.
Strong vendor relationship skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks at hand.
Ability to work within a fastpaced environment.
Import/Export experience is a plus.
