We're looking for Chef Manager who can help us deliver the best customer service and food experiences.

Reporting to the District Manager, you'll take a hands-on approach in focusing on team development, culinary expertise, safety protocol, and client relations.

Our Chef Manager will also play a key role in helping us meet budget requirements and execute company-delivered programs.

Chef Manager will be responsible for Planning, organizing, and directing of all aspects of the Food & Catering operations. Supervises food production personnel, assists with food production tasks as needed and assures that quality and service standards are consistently attained


Responsibilities:


  • Schedules and assigns daily work assignments to a food service team and oversees the completion of tasks
  • Trains and guides staff on job duties, proper food safety and sanitation procedures, cooking methods, etc.
  • Check and coach all food preparation is according to well defined recipes and follow up and discuss ways of constantly improving the cuisine
  • Display exceptional leadership by providing a positive work environment, counselling employees as appropriate and demonstrating a dedicated and professional approach to management
  • Ensure all marketing & Health and wellness, Sustainability initiatives are fully executed & work closely with District Marketing manager.
  • Improve service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback& coaching when needed
  • Prepares reports, makes schedules and performs administrative duties as assigned. Do weekly/monthly inventories
  • Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co
- workers, etc.

  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees.
  • Oversee special catering events

Qualifications:


  • Requires 23 years of experience in a related position
  • 3 years Hospitality or Equivalent university degree
  • Able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Proficiency with Computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
