Canadian Niagara Hotels is looking to fill the position of Information Technology Specialist, to join our diverse and dynamic team, under the direction of the I.T.

Manager.

This position will be on a team of 5, whose role is to provide technical advice and assistance to employees in our large multi-business unit enterprise environment where you will be able to work with various technologies.

This role will also troubleshoot errors and fix system issues.

The Technology Specialist should possess some of the following:


Experience with:

  • Ability to support Windows 10 operating systems.
  • Ability to support Microsoft Office
  • Proficient with network cabling, installation, patch panels etc.
  • Windows 2012/2016 server and Active Directory experience.
Experience with POS or SQL systems would be an asset

Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies

Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical members of the organization

Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing

High level of integrity and work ethic

Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands

Demonstrated time management skills

Ability to work individually as well as part of a team

Strong desire to assist and resolve issues by working closely with our internal customers.
