Description
Responsibilities:
- Greet and checkin patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm appointments, managing the office calendar efficiently
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients
- Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records (EMR) accurately
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and followup appointments as needed
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Assist the dentist or healthcare provider during procedures as requested
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred
- Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of dental procedures
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic is a plus
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
Job Types:

Salary:
$16.75-$21.00 per hour
