JOB DESCRIPTION (FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES)

Lead and supervise a team of manufacturing workers, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize efficiency.
Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, quality control, and maintenance, to ensure smooth production processes.
Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance productivity and quality.
Train and develop manufacturing staff on proper procedures, techniques, and equipment usage to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Maintain accurate production records, including inventory levels, production output, and employee performance.
Collaborate with the engineering team to implement process improvements and evaluate new technologies and equipment for production enhancement.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and identify potential maintenance needs.
Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, recognizing achievements, and addressing any conflicts or issues that may arise.

Requirements:

23 years proven experience as a manufacturing supervisor or a similar role in a production environment.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Solid understanding of quality control principles and practices.
Exceptional problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in using computer software and systems related to production planning and reporting.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
