JOB DESCRIPTION (FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Lead and supervise a team of manufacturing workers, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, quality control, and maintenance, to ensure smooth production processes.
- Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance productivity and quality.
- Train and develop manufacturing staff on proper procedures, techniques, and equipment usage to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate production records, including inventory levels, production output, and employee performance.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement process improvements and evaluate new technologies and equipment for production enhancement.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and identify potential maintenance needs.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, recognizing achievements, and addressing any conflicts or issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- 23 years proven experience as a manufacturing supervisor or a similar role in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Solid understanding of quality control principles and practices.
- Exceptional problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using computer software and systems related to production planning and reporting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
