Job description
We're a fast-growing skincare brand in Germany and are looking for an experienced email marketing specialist to support us with a focused but high-impact project: designing and building a high-converting abandoned cart flow.
If the results are strong, there is clear potential for a long-term collaboration where you will also manage our weekly email campaigns.
The RoleWe are looking for someone who can fully take ownership of creating and optimizing our abandoned cart flow inside Klaviyo.
This is not just about writing a few emails. We need someone who understands strategy, segmentation, deliverability, and conversion optimization.This will start as a project-based engagement focused on the abandoned cart flow.
If performance meets expectations, the role can expand into an ongoing, part-time position (~5 hours per week) managing weekly campaigns and additional flows.
What You'll DoDesign, write, and build a high-converting abandoned cart flow in Klaviyo
Set up the full flow logic, including timing, conditions, and smart delays
Implement segmentation based on behavior, purchase history, and engagement
Ensure strong deliverability (inbox placement, sender reputation, list hygiene)
A/B test subject lines, content, and timing within the flow
Monitor performance and optimize for revenue recovery
Report on key metrics such as open rate, click rate, recovery rate, and revenue per recipient
Use AI tools to speed up copywriting and ideation
If the abandoned cart flow performs successfully:
Plan, write, and send weekly email campaigns (promotions, educational content, product launches)
Continue optimizing Klaviyo account structure and segmentation
Build and refine additional automated flows
Requirements
3+ years of email marketing experience for e-commerce/DTC brands
Expert-level knowledge of Klaviyo
Deep understanding of email deliverability
Proven track record of improving open rates and email-attributed revenue
Experience with customer segmentation and behavioral targeting
Strong copywriting skills with a clear understanding of direct response principles
Comfortable using AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT for content creation
Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
Fluent English (written)
Bonus Points
Experience with skincare, beauty, or health/wellness brands
Experience marketing to women 45+
Familiarity with Meta Ads and understanding how email integrates into the broader funnel
Experience with international markets
